Description
Pick a measurable trait and create a table. Coming up with a topic is the difficult part, so I came up with two topics for you to choose from. Write a very short summary of what is happening in the graph and table and what it represnts. Topic 1: Cameras (canon cameras or something)Topic 2: Social Media (growth in youtube or instagram) These ideas share two similarities: an independent variable (the thing we are manipulating, usually related to time), and a dependent variable (the thing that changes and that we are recording data about, that DEPENDS on the independent variable)
You do not have to make a table and graph in google slides, you can do it anywhere and send it to me, or you can use google slides.

Directions
Pick a measurable trait (either something related to you or something you are
interested in) and create a table. Coming up with a topic is the difficult part, so
some ideas are to think about things in your own life that have changed over
time (shoe size vs age, height vs age). Other examples are how much your
favorite athlete made in different years of their career, how much time you spend
using your phone each month, or average temperature in brooklyn each year over
the last 10 years.
These ideas are all very different, but they all share two similarities: an
independent variable (the thing we are manipulating, usually related to time),
and a dependent variable (the thing that changes and that we are recording
data about, that DEPENDS on the independent variable)
[Fill in with Table name]
X values (independent variables)
[Fill in the title for your variables]
Y values (dependent variables)
[Fill in the title for your variables]
[fill in your graph’s title]
[fill in the label for y-axis]
Here are some
points for you
to drag and
plot on your
graph!
