I’m working on a history question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

part a. after completing this week’s lectures, answer the following questions (1-2 paragraphs each):
1. What was Osama bin Laden’s vision?  How did he seek to implement it?  Did he succeed?
2. Do you think the Bush Administration responded appropriately to 9/11?  If not, what would you have done differently?  Why?
3. Should Petraeus’s ‘Surge’ be considered a success?  Why, why not?
part b. 

What was the U.S. goal in invading Iraq?  Did the U.S. achieve this goal? (1-1.5 pages)
