A student selected a paragraph in a book and counted the number of letters in each word in
that paragraph. The results are shown in the table below. For example, 8 of the words had 2
letters each.

1. Create a data set consisting of five numbers in which the median is 20 and the range is 10.
2. Create a data set consisting of four different numbers in which the mean and the median
are both 15 and there is no mode.
3. Create a data set consisting of three numbers in which the mode and the median are both
30 and the mean is 32.
4. Create a data set consisting of five numbers in which the range and the mean are both 9,
the mode is 6, and the median is 8.
5. Create a data set consisting of six numbers in which the range is 11, the modes are 7 and 18,
and the median is 10.
