This paper will involve writing the geology, natural resources and problems,
and construction related issues of a region (country or a part of a country).
The geology should include all known changes from the Precambrian time
(4 billion years ago) to the present time. You will select a region of your
choice for the paper, preferably where you have lived. The following time
line will be followed and you will show and discuss progress with the
instructor on a regular basis.
Select the region and have it approved – September 20
Search references (on line search and library) and make a list – October 4
Read summary and conclusions of the references, and write the important
points in your own words – October 18
Discuss your progress to date and show an outline of your paper- October 25
Final paper due – November 15
